Jim Owen has taken the lead of Silsden Town Band to keep the band from folding.<\/p>\n

January 2019 After 2 years Gordon will be standing down as MD for Silsden Town Band<\/span><\/h3>\n

We are sorry to announce that our MD for 2 years, Gordon Eddison will be leaving Silsden Town Band. His last performance, yes it is always a performance, will be in March at Silsden Town Hall.<\/p>\n

Those of you who follow our band will be aware of his anecdotes and also of how much the band has improved under his direction.<\/p>\n

On behalf of the band and committee, we wish to thank him for his time and patience over the last two years, and also a great thank you to his wife Sheila who has played in the cornet section.<\/p>\n

We shall miss them both but they have indicated that they will be still around to help out if required.<\/p>\n

December 2016 New Musical Director appointed<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Gordon Eddison B Ed(Hons),\u00a0has accepted the post of Musical Director for Silsden Town Band and will officially begin in 2017.<\/p>\n
